Service Description
Join us for a hands-on glassblowing class where you'll create a stunning glass flower! Under the guidance of our instructor, you'll learn the techniques of glassblowing as you shape and mold molten glass into a beautiful flower. The flower will be gathered onto a short section of copper pipe, making it ready for installation in the ground as a unique outdoor art piece. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this class offers a perfect opportunity to explore your creativity and make a one-of-a-kind garden decoration! All materials are provided, and no prior experience is required. Given the time allotted for this class it may be possible to make 2 flowers in this class. This class does not introduce any air into the piece. It is commonly referred to as "solid work". Wear comfortable cotton clothing and closed-toe shoes. Safety glasses will be provided. It is suggested that you bring some water to drink. This is a 1.5-hour class for 1 person. If you would like to sign-up with a friend, sign-up for 2 consecutive time slots. (3 hours) Pieces will be available for pickup a minimum of 48 hours following completion of the class.

- Closed toe shoes are required for any work in the studio. No open-toed shoes. - Safety glasses must be worn at all times and are provided, students may bring their own as well. - Masks are required in all fused glass classes while using glass powders. - All students are required to complete and sign a liability waiver prior to participating in any class and read and agree to abide by the safety procedures as outlined by Stained Glass Gifts LLC. - No refunds will be provided for no-shows or cancellations within 2 days of a class start date.
